The entire operation is simple and easy even for a beginner. I got it about 7 months ago. I've been an aspiring photographer for most of my adult life. This is my first foray into DSLR land, and I have to say, I'm hooked! The 55 - 275 mm lens works well for zooming. Other: Canon also sells a body-only configuration and control layout allows you to alter shutter speed, aperture, and ISO. The verdict? I am in love with this SLR.
